Annual Chestermere Water Festival, Saturday, July 23, 2011

The Chestermere Water Festival is an annual community event celebrating summer on the lake. This year the festival will be July 23rd at John Peake Park and Anniversary Park in Chestermere. See the Festival Website for details.

2011 Chestermere Water Festival and First Fire Productions host the 3rd Annual Summer Music Showcase with continuous live entertainment from 1:00p.m. to 11:00p.m and a fireworks display over the water!!

This year’s master of cermonies is Shelly Lynch from Fernie B.C. Her engaging sense of humor, and real life stories are the basis for two CD releases. The Dream Big album was released internationally in 2008 with the songs “Plowin’ and Cryin”, “Dream Big” and “You Can’t Look Back” released to radio as well as distribution with CDbaby; including iTunes, Napster and many others.
Shelly will also share some of her favorite songs during two special performances Saturday evening.

Hello! I had an amazing trip to Nashville! I am ever so grateful to Cathy. If you are not a friend on facebook, please go to my profile and add yourself as a friend (lots of great pictures from our trip)

The songs just keep coming……I have posted a new song ’911′ on my blog, check it out and let me know what you think! The title 911 was inspired by my sister Cathy. She knows how hard it is to be in this business and she also knows that 9+1+1 = 11, my lucky number. While in Nashville I was telling her about a song in my head, she said you should name it 911! Then we went for lunch with Jan Woods. Jan and I had a heart to heart conversation, she is the angel in this song. When I returned home, this is what came out in the song.
