A musical duo from the Elk Valley may be poised to become “the next Judds.”
Veteran performer Shelley Lynch and her Fernie-born daughter Sadi-Jo, 20, have signed an agreement with Musik and Film, and its principals in the U.S., to produce and record a new album at Omni Studios.
“It’s huge,” Shelley exclaimed to e-KNOW about being able to record at the legendary Omni, during a break in Jan. 30 photo shoot at Fort Steele Heritage Town. “My reaction was: are you kidding me?”
Musik and Films principals have well over 100 gold and platinum records to their credit including Travis Tritt, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many others. Producers Terry Nails, Jim Devito and Stephen Wrench share over 50 years of music industry experience and expertise.
